Funmi Iyanda, Betty Irabor, Twitter Naija Attack Pastor Sam Adeyemi For Saying Sin Is The Root Of Mental Illness (Photos)

The pastor of Daystar Christian Center, Sam Adeyemi caused controversy today on twitter when his official Twitter handle posted statements from his preaching during the church service sayingsin was the root cause of mental illness, there was a link between physical and spiritual well-being and that the foundational solution to mental health was ‘salvation’.
This immediately got social media users including media personalities, Funmi Iyanda and Betty Irabor, criticizing him for trying to ‘spiritualize’ and ‘demonize’ mental illness saying he shouldn’t speak on Psychiatry as he wasn’t a professional in that field while his church members, off course, defended his statements.
